Miss Kitty (Lake Wylie/York Area, S.C.)
Hello - first let me start by saying that this ad is meant for the sole and pure purpose of securing a loving home for our daughter's inside female kitty. Here is a little bit about her, why we are placing this ad, and what we would expect from prospects. "Miss Kitty" was found as part of an abandoned litter, at school (HS), by our daughter, her senior year. Miss Kitty is now approximately 4 years old. She is gray with one white speck under her neck. She has been fixed, had shots (will need to be updated now), and has been EXCLUSIVELY and indoor family member. She is fluffy and beautiful. We had her front claws removed when she was a kitten. We have given her a great home.
So - the reason we are interviewing potential new homes for Miss Kitty, is due largely to the fact that my husband and I are both caring for aging parents, now in our home. Therefore, after much debate, thought and Prayer - we feel that Miss Kitty would be better served with a family that does not have "allergy" and "fear of tripping" over her, issues.
Ideal environment would be: A caring home with folks who understand cats, their ownership, and who deeply wish to add to their family. We are not prepared, nor will we "settle" on a situation that we feel would not be a good fit, and where she will receive the same level of care she has with our family.
Small Children: We are not entirely sure that a family with very young children would be a good fit? However, if we have anyone over with little ones, she usually hides, like most cats do. She has never been aggressive to kids or adults.
She is friendly, but not entirely the type that I would describe as cuddly - she likes these type things on her own terms..... which I think female cats tend to do.
Miss Kitty has never been sick, eats well, uses her litter box and generally likes to hang out in my boxes, tote bags. open cabinets, and on top of shelves.
It is non-negotiable that Miss Kitty belong to a home where she is always kept inside, and that doors are not left open to the outside (or windows without screens) - she is not the type to charge the door every time it is open, but curiosity could get the best of her.
In closing, if Miss Kitty sounds like she may be a possible new addition to your home/family, please feel free to contact me. I will be happy to speak with you further about her, and provide pictures once we have spoken.
We respectfully requests serious inquiries and cat lovers only.
Blessings!
